Great stay overall, especially when you are looking for a reasonable hot spring hotel nearby.

Great location, money for value and public hot spring (it has both hot and cold spring). About 5 mins walk from the MRT station with easy access to convenient stores and simple restaurants. Very reasonable price compares to nearby hot spring hotels. Great public hot spring bath with both hot and cold spring.

There's room for improvement for room soundproofing. Sounds from neighboring rooms can be a bit annoying if your neighbors are loud.

It’s enjoyable to have a thermal water hot tub in one’s room.

Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Beitou Hot Spring Resort. We chose this hotel as a treat at the end of a month long independent tour by car throughout Taiwan. It was a novelty to have thermal waters pumped to our room and to have a sauna and steam shower as well. The staff were excellent throughout our two day stay. Breakfast was nutritious and filling with lots of choices at the buffet. The hotel kindly stored our luggage after checkout as our flight out of Taiwan was at midnight and we wanted to see more of the Beitou area.

Small stuff. We wished there was an extra towel rack in the bathroom area and that there were stands for two pieces of luggage in the room. But these were very minor issues in the grand scheme of things.

Comfortable and enjoyable stay

Airport transfer at NT2000 for our party of 8 including 3 young children (minivan with carseats/booster seats provided too!). Room was spacious and we loved the private ensuite hot spring tub. My 2 sons really enjoyed splashing in it. Beds were comfortable. Complimentary pack of walnut cookies from the bakery given each day of stay were yummy. Public hot spring area was good too, free for guests to use between 9am and 10pm.

Very near the MRT station, just about 3 minute walk. staff were friendly and some can speak english. the room was spacious as expected. room, tub and sauna were very clean. a very relaxing stay even with 2 kids

The hot spring water that goes to your tub doesn't seem like it's naturally hot but it looks like it went through a heater to heat the water again. room was also a bit dated and may need some repair with the cabinet doors

Room was spacious, near mrt station, convenience stores, supermarket and some food places. It's a nice place for a hot soak and relax, have a walk at the park just up ahead from hotel.

Check-in is at 4pm, which is later than any hotels I've ever stayed in. And seems like there is no chance of early check-in. In fact, there was a delay even at 4pm, but staff managed to get me checked just before 4.30pm with a room upgrade.

There's a private hotspring attached if you are not comfortable with going to the public pool (no swimsuits). The room is also big enough

The toilet bowl area door is partly see through and it's not enclosed. Makes doing any major business uncomfortable

Great price point for a big room with onsen bath; great onsen; we traveled with our 2yo boy and the bed provided was very nice;

Poor and unreliable wifi reception; some furniture also show signs of aging (e.g. the wardrobe door in our room cannot be closed)

The room, private bathtub and steamroom And the public spa pool, very nice!

There's no door to isolate the sound between the bedroom and the bathroom, so at night we can hear water and pipe sounds, which is a bit disturbing. The staff in the restaurant is not friendly, and breakfast is not fantastic either.
